Emmanuel Elijah McMahon, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot on January 24, 2020, in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around noon while he was driving in the 1100 block of North Ridgeway Avenue. McMahon was shot multiple times and was immediately taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. Despite the medical team's efforts, he succumbed to his injuries four days later, on January 28, 2020.
