On the evening of November 29, 2024, at approximately 9:50 p.m., 33-year-old Laquinton Wright was fatally shot in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Wright and a 30-year-old woman were standing outside in the 6700 block of South Western Avenue when an unidentified assailant opened fire, striking both multiple times.
