On the evening of November 29, 2024, at approximately 9:50 p.m., 33-year-old Laquinton Wright was fatally shot in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Wright and a 30-year-old woman were standing outside in the 6700 block of South Western Avenue when an unidentified assailant opened fire, striking both multiple times. Wright was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead. The woman sustained serious injuries and was also taken to a loca ...
