On August 31, 2015, Tyris R. Jackson, a 35-year-old resident of Chicago, was fatally shot in the Kenwood neighborhood. Jackson was walking along the 4900 block of South Drexel Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. when an incident involving a white SUV occurred.
