Ricky C. Conners, 39, a man from Phoenix, Illinois, was shot and killed on the afternoon of October 13, 2025, in Chicago's Fuller Park neighborhood. Around 4:15 p.m., as he stood on the 300 block of West Root Street, two assailants approached and opened fire, striking him multiple times. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
