In the quiet hours of a winter evening, the life of 15-year-old José Garcia Muñoz was tragically cut short. On January 29, 2022, in a house located in the 200 block of South 14th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, the vibrant teenager was shot and killed. Officers from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department were dispatched to the residence at approximately 10:30 p.m. following a report of a shooting.
