On a cold February evening in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of 14-year-old Samuel Guess, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On February 18, 2022, inside an apartment near 22nd Street and Birch Drive, Samuel and his friend, 14-year-old Antonio Johnson, were both fatally shot.
