On a quiet Monday in rural Saline County, Kansas, the life of 50-year-old Laurie Leanne Likins, a White female, came to a tragic end. On March 21, 2022, a concerned friend's call for a welfare check led deputies to a residence at 554 West Parsons Road, just a few miles south of Salina. The friend had seen a troubling social media post, prompting her to contact law enforcement.
