On May 21, 2023, 26-year-old Vanessa Nichole Martinez Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas, tragically lost her life in a road rage incident. The confrontation began with a vehicular altercation at a different location, leading both drivers to a Murphy's gas station near Loop 410 and Military Drive. Upon arrival, an altercation ensued between Vanessa and the other driver, resulting in Vanessa being shot in the chest. She was transported to University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
