On a late Saturday night in Wichita, Kansas, the life of 16-year-old Quincy Hutton, a Black male, was tragically cut short. The date was May 14, 2022, when officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 500 block of S. Lulu around 11:40 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Quincy with a single gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
