In the autumn of 2014, the life of Ellis Alphonso Anderson, a 45-year-old man known to some as 'Pee Wee,' was cut short in a burst of violence in Northeast Washington, D.C. On the night of Saturday, October 25, 2014, at approximately 10:10 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road, NE.
