In the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C., on the evening of Saturday, January 10, 2015, the sound of gunshots shattered the night's calm. Police responded to the reports around 9:40 p.m. and discovered a young man suffering from gunshot wounds in the 3400 block of Holmead Place, Northwest.
