On the evening of April 27, 2015, at approximately 8:23 pm, 26-year-old Andre Antwon McConnell was fatally shot in the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace, SE, Washington, DC. At the time of the incident, McConnell was socializing with friends when an assailant opened fire, striking him twice in the back. Another adult male present was wounded in the leg. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital, where McConnell succumbed to his injuries.
