On October 23, 2015, at approximately 9:01 AM, Daniel Brown, a 19-year-old resident of Washington, DC, was shot in the 1400 block of First Street, SW. Despite efforts to save him, Brown succumbed to his injuries on November 5, 2015. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) immediately launched an investigation into the homicide, seeking the public's assistance in gathering information regarding the incident.
