On May 10, 2022, at approximately 8:05 PM, 19-year-old Deonte Pittman was shot and killed in the Unit block of Galveston Street, SW, Washington, DC. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene and found Pittman suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The MPD has been actively seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information about this homicide.
