In the early evening of January 20, 2016, the life of 23-year-old Timon Marcellus Jones was tragically cut short on a street in Southeast Washington, D.C. An African-American male, Jones was discovered in the 200 block of Anacostia Road, SE, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred at approximately 6:18 p.m., prompting a response from the Metropolitan Police Department.
