Death by Force

In the early hours of April 21, 2016, the life of 34-year-old Matthew E. Smith was cut short in a fatal shooting. The incident occurred at approximately 1:27 AM in the 1600 block of 16th Street, SE, in Washington, D.C. Smith, a Black male, was tragically killed, prompting an immediate homicide investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department.
