In the winter of 2017, on December 28th, a burst of gunfire shattered the morning calm in Northeast Washington, D.C., leaving a young man's life extinguished. Ronzay Green, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot around 11:25 a.m. in the 900 block of Eastern Avenue NE.
