In the early hours of Memorial Day in 2018, the sound of gunshots pierced the quiet of a Northeast Washington, D.C. neighborhood. Responding to the sounds, officers from the 5th District discovered a man lying on Langston Terrace. The man, identified as 24-year-old Anthony Jerome Clark of Southeast Washington, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
