Death by Force

On July 19, 2019, Hugh Washington, aged 57, and his son Ahkii Scruggs-Washington, aged 17, were found dead inside a residence in the 1100 block of Queen Street, NE, Washington, DC. Both victims were suffering from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred around 5:49 PM, and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) immediately began investigating the double homicide.
