In the early hours of Sunday, November 27, 2022, the life of 19-year-old Corey Riggins Jr. was tragically cut short in a shooting in Southeast Washington, D.C. At approximately 12:44 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 4300 block of Wheeler Road, Southeast. Upon arrival, they discovered Riggins suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
