On a Thanksgiving evening in Washington, D.C., the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Twenty-five-year-old Tyree Pugh was in the 1700 block of Trenton Place, Southeast, on November 28, 2019, when violence erupted. Around 8:15 p.m., the sound of gunshots pierced the holiday air. When police officers from the Seventh District arrived at the scene, they found Pugh suffering from gunshot wounds.
