On a Sunday afternoon in Washington, D.C., 36-year-old Eric Delonte Barbour, a male resident of the Southwest quadrant of the city, was fatally shot on January 26, 2020. The incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. in the unit block of N Street, SW, a neighborhood situated near Nationals Park and a Metropolitan Police Department station. Officers from the First District responded to a report of a shooting and discovered Barbour in a rear area, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
