On a Monday afternoon, the 2nd of November in 2020, a person out walking their dog in a wooded area in Northeast Washington, D.C. made a grim discovery. 24-year-old Avadis Holtzclaw, a resident of Northwest, D.C. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The case was ruled a homicide, prompting an investigation by detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch.
