On November 4, 2020, at approximately 10:35 PM, Terrence Jones, a 24-year-old resident of Northwest, Washington, DC, was shot and killed in the 5400 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the sounds of gunshots and found Jones suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Jones was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
