In the early evening of January 26, 2021, the sound of gunshots shattered the night in the 2600 block of 12th Place, Southeast, Washington, D.C. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District arrived at the scene around 7:03 p.m., they found 15-year-old Jamarid Robinson, a Black male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
