On the morning of Saturday, June 10, 2006, the body of a Caucasian male, Kurt J. Williams, was discovered in Washington, D.C. His remains were found in Rock Creek, beneath the historic Taft Bridge which carries Connecticut Avenue, NW over the expanse of the park. The discovery brought a somber end to a search that began after he was last seen leaving his workplace.
