Ricky Darnell Black, aged 41, was tragically shot and killed on September 2, 2021, in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred just after midnight in the 2700 block of Langston Place, Southeast. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District responded to reports of gunshots and found Black suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
