Death by Force

On November 11, 2021, at approximately 12:41 pm, Stacey Jahmal Selby, a 46-year-old resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was fatally shot in the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, Washington, DC. Responding officers from the Sixth District of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) found Selby suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Selby displayed no signs consistent with life and was pronounced dead at the scene.
