On Thursday, September 12, 2024, at approximately 3:10 a.m., a fatal shooting occurred in the 300 block of Parkland Place, Southeast, Washington, D.C. The victim, identified as 32-year-old Alphonzo Glascoe, was found unconscious by responding officers who had been alerted to the sound of gunshots in the area.
