Death by Force

On July 13, 2022, at approximately 7:35 PM, Kevin Gill, a 22-year-old resident of Greenbelt, Maryland, was shot and killed in the 2000 block of Ridgecrest Court, Southeast, Washington, DC^1^. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Kevin Gill inside a vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Gill was pronounced dead at the scene^2^.
