In the early moments of a December morning in Washington, D.C., a fatal encounter unfolded inside a residence on P Street, Northwest. On Monday, December 20, 2021, just after midnight, the sound of gunfire prompted a response from the Metropolitan Police Department. Inside the home, officers discovered the bodies of two men who had sustained gunshot wounds. One of the men was identified as 27-year-old Nycholas Hester, a male from Houston, Texas.
