On December 20, 2021, at approximately 12:03 a.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1400 block of P Street, Northwest, Washington, DC. Upon arrival, they discovered two adult male victims inside a residence, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as 27-year-old Nycholas Hester, of Houston, Texas, and 25-year-old Johnny Coles, of Northwest, DC.
