Death by Force

On February 1, 2022, at approximately 2:34 PM, 31-year-old Matthew Murphy was shot and killed in the 2300 block of 4th Street, NE, Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene where DC Fire and EMS found Murphy displaying no signs consistent with life. He was subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
