Michelle Ellis, a 23-year-old woman, went missing from Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 2, 1978. She was last seen leaving her home at 8:00 a.m. that morning. About an hour later, her red 1973 Oldsmobile Omega was found abandoned on Fall Creek Parkway, just half a block from a gas station.
