In the early morning hours of Friday, March 25, 2022, the life of a young man was tragically cut short in the Kingman Park neighborhood of Northeast Washington, D.C. Khalil Rich, a 16-year-old Black male, was inside a residence on the 1500 block of Isherwood Street, NE, when violence erupted. At approximately 2:34 a.m., D.C. police responded to a report of a shooting at the location.
