In the early morning hours of Thursday, June 11, 2020, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of a Northeast Washington, D.C. neighborhood, leaving a family and community to mourn a life cut tragically short. At approximately 1:50 a.m., 32-year-old Kevin Redd was shot and killed in the 4700 block of Jay Street, NE.
