In the early hours of a Friday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of 43-year-old Damon Bell, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On June 14, 2019, at approximately 1:18 a.m., police responded to reports of gunshots in the 1600 block of West Virginia Avenue, Northeast.
