In the summer of 2022, the life of 16-year-old Deandre Coleman was cut short in a burst of gunfire on a residential street in Southeast Washington, D.C.. On the evening of June 15th, at approximately 8:37 PM, officers responded to the sound of gunshots in the 4600 block of Hillside Road, Southeast. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene: two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them was Deandre.
