Death by Force

On August 18, 2021, Michael Smith, aged 38, was found dead in a car in the Unit block of K Street, Northwest Washington, D.C. He had sustained gunshot wounds, and his death was one of two homicides that occurred within a 30-minute span in the city that day. The second victim, whose identity was not disclosed, was found in the 3700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Southeast, also with gunshot wounds.
