In the late evening of a summer day in Washington, D.C., tragedy struck, forever altering the lives of a local family. On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in the 3600 block of Jay Street, Northeast, 34-year-old Shelton Robinson was fatally shot. The adult male victim was discovered by members of the Sixth District who had responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 10:29 p.m.
