In the summer of 1996, a wave of violence swept through Las Vegas, leaving a trail of grief in its wake. One of the victims was John Garcia, a 48-year-old Hispanic male, whose life was tragically cut short on July 28th of that year. He was gunned down in the garage of his home on Green Lane, a place that should have been his sanctuary. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing two men fleeing after the sound of gunshots shattered the neighborhood's tranquility.
