Atatiana Koquice Jefferson, a 28-year-old African American woman, was fatally shot inside her Fort Worth, Texas home on October 12, 2019. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when police officers responded to a call from a concerned neighbor who noticed Jefferson's front door was open.
