Robert Matthews, a 27-year-old Black male, was shot outside the Northpointe Apartments at 3333 N. Michael Way in Las Vegas after a confrontation near the complex entrance. Shortly before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, two men arrived in a dark-colored four-door sedan, a brief argument followed, and multiple shots were fired.
