In the early hours of July 9, 2025, the life of 22-year-old Michael Simmons Jr. was tragically cut short in a barrage of gunfire in a southwest Las Vegas neighborhood. The young man, a Black male, was a devoted father to his young daughter and a talented, licensed barber known for his generosity, often offering free haircuts to those in need.
