On April 5, 2016, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives initiated an investigation following the discovery of a deceased male in a vacant apartment. The body was found in an apartment located in the 200 block of West Boston Avenue, near the Stratosphere Casino and Hotel, after police received complaints about heavy foot traffic in and out of the boarded-up apartment.
