On the night of September 7, 1996, the vibrant lights of Las Vegas bore witness to a violent act that would cut short the life of a generational talent. Tupac Shakur, a 25-year-old Black male, was in the city to attend a Mike Tyson heavyweight fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
