On May 30, 2016, a vibrant life was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. Andre Smith, a 35-year-old Black / African American man, was fatally wounded in a shooting that shattered the peace of an apartment complex on the 3600 block of Cambridge Street, near East Twain Avenue and South Maryland Parkway. The incident unfolded following a heated argument involving a group of individuals, escalating to a moment of violence that would have irreversible consequences.
