18-year-old Eric Brooks from Las Vegas was killed while sitting on a park bench near Seeliger Street and Vintage Wine Avenue on Friday night.

Around 10:25 p.m., police were called to investigate reports of gunshots and a person lying in the street. Officers spotted Brooks when they arrived, and medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
