In the early evening hours of November 22, 2016, a tragedy unfolded in the east valley of Las Vegas that left a man's life abruptly cut short. Kevin Thomas, a 50-year-old male, was found deceased on the road at 5101 E. Twain Ave., near Nellis Boulevard. The cause of his death was a gunshot wound, turning a regular Tuesday evening into the scene of a homicide investigation.
