On November 21, 2018, a fatal shooting occurred in the southwest valley of Las Vegas, resulting in the death of 29-year-old George Campoverde of North Las Vegas. The incident took place in the 5900 block of Belcastro Street, near the intersection of South Tenaya Way and West Russell Road.
