In mid-September of 2019, the quiet of a Las Vegas neighborhood was broken by a grim discovery that revealed a tragedy within a local family. On Monday, September 16th, concerned individuals requested a welfare check on a married couple, leading police to a home on the 4400 block of Thompson Circle. Inside, officers found the bodies of 75-year-old Judy Wilson and her 78-year-old husband, William Wilson.
They were both pronounced dead in their living room.
Subsequent investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County coroner's office painted a somber picture of the events that had transpired. Evidence found within the home indicated a murder-suicide. The coroner determined that both Judy and William Wilson died from gunshot wounds to the head.
